We had been to this restaurant with the family some years ago and enjoyed it very much,so decided to try again in september 08. What a disappointment! This time we were met by a jovial fellow who advised us we would be stupid not to eat here.My wife ordered the lamb cutlets, but found very little lamb and lots of bone. When the waitress cleared our plates we mentioned we were disappointed with the meal, which was obvious due to the food left on the plate, but she expressed no interest whatsoever. When the waiter asked us if we wanted a sweet we again said the meal was poor,he replied, thats how it is,so we ordered champagne and lobster. That last bit is a lie, we paid and left. we were wondering if a restaurant in such a great location served consistently good food, then maybe they could save on the salary of the jovial fellow, or are they just happy for diners to visit only once?
