We have just returned from Majorca having spent 7 nights at the Marina Skorpios/Corfu. We actually stayed in the Corfu building on an AI basis. The variety and choice of food was absolutely superb for a 3 star hotel. The entertainment provided day and night by the hard working Marina team was really terrific. This hotel is definitely designed for families like ourselves with young children. Every evening there would be a Mini Disco and throughout the day lots of activities for the children.
The location of the 2 hotels, nestled in between a private beach looking out on to a small cove, was truly wonderful. Basically you have the choice between spending time at one of the 2 swimming pools or walking 20 yards to venture onto the beach. You do have to pay for the sun beds on the beach.
The hotel was extremely clean and our room was cleaned on a daily basis with fresh towels and sheets. When we arrived we'd ordered a cot for our room yet when we entered our bedroom it hadn't been sorted out. Within 5 minutes of querying this with reception it was resolved. A simple example of the hotel's commitment to service and looking after its guests.
The service overall was again fantastic. You rarely if ever had to wait to be served at the bars. And most importantly all the staff had a genuine smile on their faces and were keen to help you. The restaurant staff were extremely proficient too.
We'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone with children. It really is a gem. Of the 5 AI hotels we've stayed in during the past few years across the Med this is undoubtedly the best we've visited so far.

stayed at the marina corfu for 11 nights at beginning of July. friends had recommended it and we weren't disappointed. asked for a sea/pool view and got exactly that. beautiful view. lovely albeit small beach which was a delight to swim in. if you go down before 08.30 you will have the cove all to yourself to swim in - crystal clear water. all pool areas regularly cleaned and staffed with lifeguards who are happy to teach young kids how to dive in. whole hotel is absolutely spotless and rooms are cleaned to a high standard every morning - no complaints at all. breakfast was outstanding - hot food, heated plates, great selection. we ate lunch at the pool bar most days - sandwiches, salad, burgers, hot dogs etc. dinner was on the whole of a good standard - nice salads, good veggie selection , varied choice which usually included a carvery, cheeseboard every night. included drinks were local brands which were fine. staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and worked very very hard. entertainment staff were great, plenty for the kids to do and as most of it was around the pool area, you are able to watch them whilst actually being able to relax and chill out yourself. however, no hotel is perfect and the only complaint we have is the SUNBED DRAMA every morning. the hotel locks up the sunbeds until 0900 every morning to try to avoid the usual booking sunbeds with towels overnight. but believe it or not people still go down to the pool from 0700 and pull plastic patio chairs over to the pool to 'book' their spot. this usually involves up to eight chairs lined up in the spot where they sit every day. at 0900 they then pull their sunbeds over and replace the chairs with the sunbeds. do they take the chairs back? of course not - they leave them lying around for the staff to do that - you selfish saddos you know who you are!! dont know what the answer is, there is plenty of sunbeds - hotel even brought in a whole pile of new ones when we were there. problem is people who want to sit in the same place every day. would we go back? if we wanted a relaxing family holiday which caters well for young kids then yes - on the whole outwith the hotel we found spain very expensive so until that changes we will probably go back to USA

Fantastic holiday!
Great food, decent drink, friendly staff & great entertainment.
Loads for the kids to do and everything you need is right on your doorstep.
Only downside is that bedrooms are small but hey you don't go on holiday to stay in your room.

Just returned from a 10 day holiday at the Hotel Marina Corfu, and i can honestly say after 20+years of holidaying abroad it was one of the best i've had.
The hotel was well maintain and the clenliness first class. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much bother. The day time activities for both children & adults were spot on, something to appeal to all tastes. Also the evening entertainment was brilliant, normally past holidays it has been a little cheesy, but not at the Marina.
Leaving the best whilst last, the food. Outstanding. So much choice, always hot and really tasty.
The hotel stands alongside it's sister hotel the Skorpios, and inbetween there is a quaint private beach and turquoise cove to soak up the Majorcan sunshine.
The surrounding area of Cala Egos is a short stones throw away from the hotel where a large selection of shops, bars and restaurants can be found. Cala D'or is a short taxi ride away or you can catch the mini train which runs hourly round the resort.
Prior to going away, i like many others read reviews, and overall this hotel has nothing but excellent ones, as for the few negetives i can't believe they are talking about the same hotel.
A holiday is what you make it, and for us four - F is for Fantastic
