We have just returned from our holiday and are wishing that we are still there. We went one week all inclusive 2 adults 2 children (8 & 5 yrs). On arrival the reception staff were helpful and spoke very good english. The apartment was very specious and clean with a reasonable view. Maid service was daily...I am unsure whether she should have been cleaning the floors but by the 4th day they could have done with a clean. We hired a safe and paid 40 euro deposit for beach towels (this saved us on baggage allowance).

The food - varied throughout the week and was delicious. There was plenty for the children to choose from, although my children aren't fussy. We helped ourselved to buffet meals and the waiters were quick to remove our empty plates, so we could continue with our next course.

The pools - very good layout of the pools. With the depths increasing gradually. There are activities carried out in the pool occasionally for the children and daily aqua aerobics for the adults. Inflatables are allowed in the pool. There is also a lifeguard patrolling the area.

Entertainment team - excellent. The children's clubs are well run by enthusiastic professionals. my children enjoyed the activities throughout the week. The mini disco was really good. The entertainment that followed was also very well done.


There is a fantastic beach on the doorstep of the hotel. The sand is soft and the sea is so clear.

The only down side to our holiday was that my husband and I did not explore the island and this was because:
1. The children loved the hotel and activities
2. It was too hot for the children to walk about
3. We were all inclusive and did not want to pay out for food elsewhere

So, if you want a family holiday where there is plenty to entertain the children or a lush hotel to return to for dinner after a day sight seeing, then this is the one i would choose. It certanly stands out from the rest.

Just got back from staying at the Iberostar Ciudad Blanca. What a fantastic holiday.

After reading some of the other reviews we expected the standard to be good and we was not dissapointed. We stayed on All inclusive basis. I have never stayed in a hotel where the staff particularly the entertainment team are so friendly. Even after they have finished their shows they will then go and chat with guests which I think is marvelous. (Ado you are a top man!)

As the coach pulls up outside the hotel do not be dissapointed as the rear of the hotel is on the front so you are basically looking at the rear of the building which doesn't look spectacular but once you get inside you will see the amazing well kept gardens and the hotel interior is also clean. The pool area is superb and true to the photos you see.

My only very minor gripes are as below our room with a pool view was a little small and I would probably say that the room was more 3 star standard with regard to furnishings but that is being very picky. Also the food served at lunch time in the restaurant one on occasiont appeared to be last nights leftovers warmed up but that was only noticed on one occasion the breakfast and dinner were superb however with a fantastic selection it also tasted superb. As for the lunch we mainly ate at the beach bar area where the food there was cooked fresh so if you don;t like the look of the restaurant at lunch have it at the beach bar. As I said the above points are very picky little gripes!

Yes there are a lot of Germans there but the first few days it appeared to be 50 percent british and 50 percent German this did not bother me. Later on I would say it was 70 percent german. But you have to think if it is full of Germans than the hotel is obviously good as they will not accept anything less. There are a lot of kids at this hotel but as they are mostly German the kids know how to behave and therefore were not particularly noisy.

if you want to eat British food Pie and chips and mix with British people then I suggest you stay at home and go to Blackpool do not come here. It actually makes a nice change to be not surrounded by 100 percent british people and their gobby kids all day screaming. The food is not catered towards the Germans it is simply what you expect from a 4 star hotel in Spain and there is soo much choice of food I ate everything I guarantee that the food is superb! We had Roast beef one night how can that be catered towards the Germans as some past reviews had said.

Overall this hotel is fantastic and I would definitely come again!

Stayed for a week and loved it, especially the food. If you like fresh food, fruit and salads you will love it here. The choice was excellent every day with some daily extra special displays, such as lobster, crab and king prawns as well as other seafood one night, tons of different cheeses another night, and unbelievable mounds of different fruits another. Yet another night was Dessert night, all with lots of great food for starters and mains. The all inclusive wines were good quality and they even have Cava available at breakfast time!
Rooms good and clean, although the air conditioning was not working in the bedroom.
Pools clean and fun, we tended to use the smaller pool which has a very deep end.
Right on the beach, staff were brilliant, what can I say?
Entertainment was not the best I've seen but they tried hard and we enjoyed all of it.
I would recommend the Pirates Adventure show in Magaluf which was great, but if you can afford it get seats on the Quarter Deck as our seats upstairs were awful so I had to stand at the back to watch. Also food at the show is rubbish but the show is superb.
All in all a great holiday.

The hotel and the staff you cannot fault. All superb. Go all inclusive. Weather in May/June 2008 was abismal and this hotel doesn't really hold a lot in store for kids when it's raining. Go in summer and there'll be less blood sucking mozzies. If you go when it's raining, you'll be applying anthisan for a year.
