“Great week away!”

Me and my girlfriend stayed here from the 13th to 20th July. We had a great time. Ignore the negative reviews, some people moan about anything, and these are the people who moan about Netto putting beans up by 2p! We booked through Thomson and paid just under £500 pp for one week which I thought was excellent value.

When we arrived at 1.30am we checked in, in about 5 minutes. The reception looked very plush. The guys on reception spoke very good english and there is also one english lady working there. They took our passports for the night so dont worry about that! You can collect them back the next morning!

The room was pretty big, we had a living area with lcd tv, kitchen that we didnt use as we were all inclusive, bedroom with 2 twin beds and a nice bathroom. All was very clean. The kitchen was a bit outdated but who cares. Who cooks on an all inclusive :s so I wasnt gonna moan about that. Theres a safe for all your things and I was very suprised at how cheap it was. Only 12euro's for the week. If you arrive late theres food in the dining room for you. This is on every night. There were cold meats, salad, bread and butter.

The complex is huge, the pools are very big and kept clean. There are hundreds of loungers and we never had difficulty finding some even with the germans reserving em! Although the hotel does move towels left before 9am so you dont have to get up at 5am just to get some chairs! If you want front pool seats just be down for 9 n u can have em! We played all 3 mini golf courses which must have cost a fortune to make. If your a fish lover there are huge carp in the pools around the mini golfs. All these are free if your on the all inclusive, otherwise 6e per course.

La Reservé. We went there for 1 day, and yea its worth the 11e per person. Its got a nice pool with slides and a pool bar. It was really quiet too so if you just wanna chill its the place to be!
There is a place that does food there too but we didnt try it, I didnt even know it was there till after we had dinner!

There are 2 buffet restaurants and your allocated one on arrival so they dont have 1 thats packed and 1 thats empty! Both have same food thou so dont worry! The food was a 7/10. Sometimes a little lack of choice, but theres always chips so I knew there'd be something I liked as im a bit fussy! Breakfasts are good, I had a full english every morning!! Well worth getting up for!
For dinner you can eat in the buffet restaurants but we prefered the burger bar where you can get burgers surpisingly, hotdogs, kebabs, nuggets, squid rings and chips.

The night entertainment was a bit poor to be honest, but kids like it and it is a family place really so im not gonna moan. Bit gutting the all inclusive finishes on drinks at 12am but again dont really want people abusing it and causing trouble at a family place cos you always get the scutters on these places who just drink for the whole yr.

Sa coma beach is only a 5 minute walk away, we didnt go on the beach cos we prefer the pool but the towns a decent place and there are loads of restaurants that are very reasonable if you fancy a change! The weather was great too, didnt see any rain at all.

If your on a late flight back well worth booking a late check out room and you can sunbath all day or if not just take a shower in the shower-room in reception which is very big and clean with towels provided.

All in all, a great week away and id deffo return.

Visited hotel on all inclusive package, chosen as had four a la carte restaurants as well as buffett restaurants - tried to book a restauant on our first day there and told all restauarants fully booked for well over a week and as we were only there for a week couldn't eat in any of them.
General buffet restaurant - meals were pretty dire. Food was definately geared towards the Germans as was the rest of the entertainment at the hotel'

Pool area very overcrowded and despite notices saying everywhere you couldn't reserve a lounger before 9am it was near impossible to get one. Paid extra to go into La Reserva where much more pleasant and lots of space!

Rooms clean but very noisy due to entertainment.

Sa Coma is a lovely clean, family resort but wouldn't return to this hotel.

Hotel full of German it holds 2500 people and is more like a butlins holiday camp, hard to find a sun lounger after 9 am food cold and resturant staff need training on how to clear table and stop smashing dishes, red wind served chilled strange, rooms average, water park excellent value for money Do yourself a favour if you like a quality Hotel dont go you will be disapointed
I am a travel agent and have been in the industry 14 years and can tell you this is the worst 4 star I have ever been in

when we arrived the reception area looked fine and got checked in very quickly, however as soon as we walked outside we realised this was not going to be a good holiday, we travelled with 2 small children who love the swimming pool, however it was just a mass of sunbeds in long lines with no gaps between the beds, in some places it was 8 or 9 rows deep, we could never get a sunbed and even if you could you could not even see the pool if you were several rows back and had no chance of watching your children, you could not use the the other hotel pools in the complex so your only option is to pay to use the reserva waterpark. When we tried to book restaurants which are included in the all inclusive and some of the sports we were told they were fully booked for over a week. The food in the buffet restaurant is ok but only if you like chips with every meal it is certainly not of four star quality. The entertainment was very poor even the kids mini disco was the worst we have ever seen. I would not go back to this hotel again it just can not cope with the amount of guests it has at full capacity

“Lovely Clean Hotel”

I have just returned from a week at this hotel with my husband and 2 boys aged 16 years . I was extremely happy with the quickness of being checked into our apartment, which had a view over the pool. The room was lovely and clean superb fresh white towels and bed linen, the kitchen was quite adequate if you went self catering. We were all inclusive, which we were glad we did due to the very hot weather. We had no difficulty in booking into any of the other restaurants, I would definately recommend the Country Grill with their superb BBQ steaks, which I was even asked by the chef cooking it how I would like my steak to be cooked, and considering he had stood in the blazing heat cooking all day and night I thought what a wonderful gesture to still keep customers happy by asking them. La Luna was also beautiful even though personally I could not manage to have all of the courses offered. The Italian Restaurant menu was fine the food could have been served hot though. Be prepared to find out things for yourself with regards to the restaurants we were not told which restaurant we had to eat in as one is call Menorca and the other is called Ibiza it seemed like they split the germans and english people up for these two restaurants. The only real complaint was the usual sunbed issue where they were packed in like sardines, but it was nice to see that the pool staff did actually remove towels off the sunbeds if they were put on their before 9am. I did notice however, if you want to save sunbeds you need to get to the pool area between 8-8.30am and sit there until 9am when you can then leave them without anyone removing them. We tried the beach but it was so busy we found it difficult to find somewhere to sit, the sunbeds were 4.50 euros each which was ludicrous price to pay so we purchased 4 of the rush-mats from the local shop and sat on those for a few hours.
We queued up to catch the train that runs into Calla Millor but it was full and they run every hour the bus drove past waving his hand that it was full too, so most people just walked off or got a Taxi. The 2 boys went to the Water park paid 11 Euros each, said it was ok but nothing special. There was a mini-club for the smaller children, but they did not cater for the teenagers/young adults. This hotel is really for families with very small children and not if you have children aged 13 upwards. There is a small selection of shops, a little craft market on a wednesday evening which was nice to look around. All in all we did enjoy ourselves, and I can assure you I am a very fussy person but was pleased we booked this hotel, but would return only if I had a young family.
