We had read previous reviews and we were aprehensive about food and language barriers.
Receptionists were very friendly and spoke limited English but this made it all the more fun and enjoyable because we had to practise our limited Spanish.
The rooms were very spacious with a living area, fridge, cooking rings, seperate bathroom and bedroom.Maid service was daily and quite thorough.
The food was very good and being an English family of 11 with very mixed taste in foods ,we found something for every one.
The meals were Spanish orientated but even a very British 18yr old foodie found something to his taste.
The are is quieter than Salou and the harbour is very scenic.
It is surrounded by several seafood restaurants and some up market shops.
If you want the hectic pace of Salou the buses are frequent from the sea-front and take about 10 -15 mins to get to the night life.
Barcelona is a daily bus trip for about 20 euros return.
A great place for a quiet family holiday but close enough to Salou's more hectic pace if you feel like a trip there.
