Pros:
* Beautiful location
* Breath-taking views
* The room is huge
* Loved having two bathrooms with showers!
* Loved having a full-sized fridge to keep our stuff.
* Loved having a fouton in front of the TV.
* Loved the balcony and bistro set.
* Loved having the restaurant right there on the premises.
The food was really good! It's very enjoyable to have dinner in
the open air.
* Loved Lorraine, the bartender.
* Loved that they had live music one day during the week.
* Everything is pretty close to the hotel - including the gorgeous
beaches, restaurants and shops.
Cons:
* Service sucks pretty bad - communication is seriously
lacking. They don't answer emails and they don't like
answering the phones. They keep you waiting for an hour at
the location they are to pick up at. Check-in took way too
long. But we were determined to have a good time
regardless.
* Sheets were requested to be changed and weren't. I had to
change my own sheets and make my own bed because the
cleaning crew left for the day.
* The faucets were nauseatingly filthy and weren't cleaned after
we requested it.
* Missing handle in shower - they never got to fixing it.
* The vents in the A/C in the kitchen was held in place by
newspaper and cardboard.
* The floors were filthy, even after they cleaned it.
* Dirty pool until the last day we were there.
* On the last day there, a roach came out to greet us and bid us
farewell.
Would we stay there again? Maybe – if they were cleaner. I definitely I paid way too much for seriously lacking service. I never felt comfortable walking barefoot in the room. But the beaches in Culebra are amazingly gorgeous! Flamenco is overcrowded, but if you find a secluded spot all the way at the end, it’s perfect! Zoni Beach is not too far, and we highly recommend it – it’s secluded and gorgeous as well. Avoid El Eden if you can – the guy’s wife is a thief! He told us one already hefty price for beer, and she decided to make it more expensive when we checked out! >:{}
