My husband and I stayed April 22 & 23 and were very pleased with the room. We had a king room and it was spacious and very clean. The breakfast in the morning had good choice and the omelets were always hot. The staff were more than helpful and made us feel very welcome.... even at the supermarket, all the staff were cheerful and the lady at the tourist information was also so friendly. I sound like I am repeating myself but we would definately return.

When we arrived there were not very many people staying at the hotel(which I like ) but there were many staff and everyone was very friendly as soon as we walked in.

Our room(king) was very big, the bed was soft and the sheets and covers were clean and new.(We left a tip because it was so clean and nice)

The bathroom was very roomy, planty of fluffy thick towels.

The room also had a frig, microwave and wetbar. I wish we could have stayed londger to enjoy those.

The free breakfast was bigger and better than any other free breakfast I've seen. Again the breakfast staff was friendly and very helpfully and cleaned non stop. She brought out fresh cold milk(three kinds) twice. I wish I could could get this kind of service at a paying breakfast.(We left a tip because she was sooo great)

The pool which was closed(December) overlooks a beautiful Virginia farm. Im looking forward to going back for the pool and the view.

For a hotel in the country this one was fantastic and I will return.

This hotel is great. I spent last weekend there with my girlfriend and have nothing but rave reviews. We used it as a weekend get away from Washington, DC and as a place to visit Moticello (about 1/2 hour away -- but on the route from DC). Orange is a cute town and has a few great options for restuarants. The staff at the hotel are A+ people -- very friendly and very helpful. The hotel has won all sorts of awards, including awards for cleanliness. If you are looking for a great retreat from DC or for a nice stay overlooking the countryside come here (ask for a mountain view when you reserve your room).

We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a room with kingsize-bed + sofa + space for at least 4 people, incl. kitchenette.

The room was very clean, well maintained, and we had enough space for the overnight stay (family of 4 with 2 children). Also the bathroom was really very clean.

We loved this place with its wonderful outdoor-pool, facing the great and peaceful countryside so much that we decided to use the room until check-out 12 noon the next day. We really could not leave this place earlier.

The hotel is situated outside of Orange on top of a little hill (you drive up "Round Hill Drive" when you approach the hotel). The staff was very friendly, the rooms were great and the breakfast the next morning was also very good.

There is a very big shopping centre on the way to Orange-village, just 2 minutes away by car, where you can get and eat just anything you desire. We used the Chinese-to takeout and were very pleased with our room-for-four-equipment when we had our dinner there.

We came from a wonderful trip through Shenandoah National Park that day and will definately come back to this hotel if we will pass this region sometime in the future!
