I went to the hotel that was right down the road from school b/c the dorms weren't open until the next day. The Knights Inn... yeah free HBO and breakfast... what's that tell you there... one of those sketchy places ....so we walk into the office area and the guy behind the desk had on this suit that was ...really sloppy... and his tie was ugly... his fingernails (and his fingers) were really nasty... they really needed to be cleaned. The rate for the room was higher b/c of a tech game??? ..and the room wasn't even worth half of what we paid. We walk into the room and first thing I noticed was the funny smell... yeah it was there all night. It was aslo freezing cold so I turned the heat on before we went out to dinner. We got back from dinner and we went back into the room. The heat that had been on for about 2 hours.... didn't do anything at all.. the room was still cold except for right around the heater. So, my friend was messing around with the curtains... they didn't close all the way, so I had to hold them together with a pencil. It was quite nice. The TV remote didn't work, the bathroom door wouldn't shut.. if you closed it, you weren't coming out of the bathroom anytime soon. They didn't give us any shampoo, not that I would take my chances in that shower. There were nasties in the tub and there was a black hair on the wall yuck! anyway, so I was laying in bed and decided to get under the covers b/c I was gonna go sleep. Well, the top blanket had stains on the underside of it so I threw it on the floor. Then I was putting my pillows in place and I noticed that there were lil hairs in them so I threw them away. I didn't even want to think about what was on the other covers so I tried to sleep. I slept in my clothes ...well I should say "slept" because I did not sleep very well AT ALL. The faucet was dripping and our neighbors were loud. Needless to say, this is NOT a good place to stay!
