We arrived or vacation in Roanoke I had booked the hotel through a corporate discount program. In the past this program had hotels that were not really great and so I was expecting something less than what we got. This is a great hotel. We stayed for 2 nights. The only complaint I have was that the breakfast area was a little small, but the continental breakfast included eggs, biscuits, gravy, cereals, fruit and was a great value. We would definitely stay on our next visit to Roanoke. You can't go wrong with the Holiday Inn Express.

We recently stayed here for a convention...and were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was! Small rooms with double beds..but clean... Very nice breakfast! Small pool...but the kids loved it! This hotel was exactly what we needed. Reasonable rates! Wonderful location to civic center! Very glad we made this choice! Would definitely recommend to families traveling on a budget!

This place was perfect. Yes, it's a Holiday Inn and not Plaza, but the room was immaculate, the location is great, staff is friendly, and reasonably priced. We stayed here on two separate occasions. Would recommend for anyone travelling to or near Roanoke. Not one problem, not one complaint.

For a "lower end" hotel, Holiday Inn Express has been pleasantly comfortable. The rooms and public space are very clean...the sheets and amenities upgraded from a typical similar type hotel. This was my second HI Express experience and, I would readily choose a HI Express as a less expensive hotel then I would a Ramada or similar. Very nice indeed....(not the Ritz, of course)!
