My friend and I stayed at the Courtyard Roanoke Airport for one night on Tues., Mar. 24. We arrived for check-in at almost 8pm, but I'd called ahead of time and everyone at the front desk was extremely friendly.
Our room was close to the elevator, and you could hear hallway and elevator noise through the door. The great part about the room, though, was the way it was set up for business travellers. There was an extra pull-out desk, plenty of outlets, and free wireless Internet.
This was the only Marriott, though, of the three we stayed in on our vacation, (and of all the hotels we stayed in) that did not offer free breakfast. $9.99 for the standard hotel breakfast buffet didn't appeal to us.
The front desk had a great list of directions to and from nearby restaurants and stores. Plus, they had a 24-hour "market" in the lobby where someone could purchase drinks and snacks.
Overall, our stay here was very pleasant, and the only real complaint is the lack of breakfast.
