We stopped on the way home because we had decided on fried chicken and figured it’d be on the buffet. Saturday night was crab leg special and they had plenty of them. Salad bar was the standard but substantial and fresh. Hot bar: Green beans, mac and cheese, navy beans, Harvard beets, some kind of greens, fried shrimp (good, but a lot of batter), fried oysters (very good), fried chicken (well cooked and good) steamship beef cut to order and the crab legs. But you should just start with desert. Pies. Apple, French apple, blueberry, peach, lemon meringue, coconut custard, and more I can’t remember. $13.95: $22.95 with crab legs. Highly recommended.
Read some of the other reviews before I posted this. The help was pleasant and the food good. It's country cooking not a four star restaurant. It's worth a stop when traveling I81.
