Our party of six certainly enjoyed a very good meal at the Mill Street Grill before heading to a play, but it was not, in our view, quite as outstanding as suggested by other reviews, and the cost was a bit more expensive than the pub ambiance might lead one to expect (our meal for four adults and two kids came to $190, with only a few drinks among us, one appetizer and no desserts). Also, the ribs were indeed very good, but the exuberant praise on other reviews again seems a bit over-rated. The filet mignon, paella and a blackened redfish were also quite good. Dinner was very slow coming (almost two hours for our meal), but we were informed about 2/3 of the way through our meal that one of the ovens had broken down, so the delay might not be reflective of typical service. The bread was great, but we were all a bit puzzled why the waitress took all of our bread away as the entrees were served -- we had hoped to continue to eat the bread with our meal, and not rely on it as an appetizer alone. All in all, I would recommend the Main Street Grill, but would rate it just a notch below the apparent consensus from other reviewers here.
