The room was immaculate. I could find no fault. Best value for the price. Staff extremely professional. Night staff went above and beyond. Cleaning staff needs a raise! Quiet and in safe area close to shopping and First Landing State Park where I spent my days. Great place to stay for travelers to First Landing who don't really want to sleep in a tent.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. The outside had a nice appearance, but the inside was old, musty and nasty. The room appeared to have never been vacummed properly and the bedding was old and rotten. I booked over the internet (nice picture of rooms) and was told that I could not be refunded. I went to a local Wal-Mart and bought a set of sheets and a room deodoriser just so we could be comfortable enough to sleep. A true "dump" in every sense of the word. I also had several personal items that went "missing" but of course no one had any idea what could have happened. Every time we left the room, (which was as often as possible) we re-packed the car just to make sure "we" did not mis-place anything else. My advice...STAY AWAY!!!

We were charged over $1,100 for 2 rooms for 2 nights.

We were only suppossed to pay $642 total.

Trying to resolve this with the owner turned out to be a nightmare. I hope my credit card company can do something.

This is a warning to anyone staying at that Econo Lodge watch very carefully what you are being charged.

Better yet, stay some where else.
