I stayed here for a business seminar and was very pleased with my room. Staff was pleasant at check in and answered questions any time. Lobby was nice, small gift shop but that wasn't why I was there. Rooms were very clean, very updated!! I stayed in theTower and did hear that the rooms in the smaller building weren't as nice. Lots, and lots of nice pillows (which were a necessity for me at the time recovering from a broken rib) and the bed was very comfortable. There was a dorm type refrigerator in the room and was very clean. Internet was having problems while we were there but we got on no problem, others had to go into hall. Bathroom was very clean and spacious. There were rails in the tub also for safety purposes, but since that is how I broke my rib, I was a little extra cautious!!! My only complaint about my trip was the restaurant downstairs. We decided to stay there one night, big mistake!! The waitress was horrible, had an attitude from the time we sat down. Didn't even speak to us for at least 15 mins and then had an obvious issue with us from asking simply about the food on the menu. Food was very overpriced and not much selection. I decided to play it safe with a burger, taste wise-okay but a $14 bill for burger and fries was not my idea of a good deal. In case your wondering, yes, that was just burger, fries, and $1 tip(for her rudeness) my drink was liquor and on a seperate bill!!!!! We were in there for 1 hour and 45 min and was horrible the whole time!!! Our seminars were in the ballroom and was very well attended to. Good snacks and breakfast items to choose from. Not sure I would stay as a personal visit only because of price. Got better deal because of seminar and of course was paid for by my employer. Recommend to stay in tower. Overall, very nice place to stay and clean which is top on my lists!!!!!

Nice accomodations with a great view; good value; extremely comfortable beds; would recommend it to a friend.

The hotel is very nice; I stayed two nights while on a retreat. I love the beds in this hotel!! They were so comfy! You just fall into them. I don't think I have every slept so well. I wanted to pack it up with me and take it home. Unfortunately it would not fit in my suitcase. 

I would go back to the Wyndham Hotel Virginia Beach Oceanfront. I had a retreat and 8 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. I was a little concerned that it would be too crowded but we had a blast. It was enough room for everyone. The newest building (the first one you get to) has the suites and accessible rooms in it. It is not on the oceanfront but you are able to see the ocean from the suite. All of the oceanview rooms are in the old building. If I did it again, I would stay in the new part of the hotel. The suite was a little dusty and the ice machine sounded like a mack truck but other than that, I would highly recommend the hotel. They allowed me to check in early and check out late. They are very accomodating and the staff is pleasant. I talked to Marco several times who was a great resource to the hotel. He is one of the managers. Thanks Marco!
