The only way to desribe this place is disgusting. We were supposed to be vacationing in Southern Florida but Tropical Storm Fay had other plans for us. We left our beautiful resort in Naples, stayed a night in Savannah and drove all day to Virginia Beach. We booked the Wyndham bc it looked decent online. Looks are deceiving. The room was nothing more than a dirty college dorm, the hallways were dirty, the pool was horrible and the overall condition of this hotel was poor and just DIRTY! We were with another couple and the four of us decided this was a place we would not sleep in. I did not even want to sit on the bed let alone sleep in it. We were there an hour and left. We all wanted to be in the car for another 7 hours rather than stay there. A heads up- We called Wyndham corporate offices to dispute the credit card charges and we were told it is not a TRUE Wyhdham. It is a independent hotel that Wyndham sold their name to! No wonder why this place is the way it is - if it truly were a Wyndham I am sure it would be so much better. Do yourslelves a favor - DO NOT STAY HERE!

Loved the location. The hotel staff are professional, friendly...went "above & beyond". The Ocean View room view was great, the bed comfortable.

The restaurent menu and quality was excellent...satisfied "foodies" and teenagers.

One area could stand improvement - the room needs updating.

i have taken several visits to virginia beach before with my family, and when our typical hotel was booked, we came across the wyndham. all in all it looks like the typical hotel, they could do a little more with the curbappeal. but after driving for 10 hours straight, that's really the last thing that matters.

we checked in with a bit of a delay, but the front desk staff were very courteous and we were still allowed to make use of the other amenities such as the pool, hot tub, work out rooms, and children's activities' center.
the pool... was small. to say the least. though an indoor and outdoor pool is nice, but the water was rather cold, and the hot tub was a little too hot.
the staff was super great. my kids loved the 'Kids Cove' and it gave mom and dad some time to get away for a while. the staff in there were very informative and we could hardly get the kids to leave. hah!

the restaurant food was excellent, 2 days out of the 4. the service wasnt the greatest on the bad days, but that could be just myself being picky when it comes to service. but the atmosphere of the restaurant is inmistakably remarkable. with the tables surrounded by big bay windows overlooking the quiet sandy beaches, it was great. and at night sometimes they had a giant movie screen on the back patio so we were able to watch while eating dinner. another surprise treat.



all-in-all. the experience was great. with a few little kinks, but everything cant be perfect. i do recommend this hotel though.

Just got back from a 3 night stay here. The beds are comfy, the place is nice and clean. We had a nice room (looked just like pictures on hotel website) with a great ocean view. The pools are a bit small, but not crowded. Could use some more pool chairs. The beach here is not crowded either, on the far end in a residential section, if you want quiet and uncrowed, this is the place for you.
