Ideally located in Warrenton located minutes from town. This was our second visit and I think we hit it on an "off" weekend. We should have stayed with our original room reservation in Hunters Haven and at the last minute thought we were upgrading to the Fox and the Grape room. Unless you are vertically challenged, you may wish to reserve another room. My husband is 6'2" and he kept bumping his head and had to stoop to maneuver through the room. Our fireplace never worked and when we inquired about it, no one seemed to know how it worked. It was our anniversary, so it would have been nice if it had worked properly. No one ever atempted to inform us how to operate it. This room is located in the inn's basement, so there aren't any windows and it is dark. Although the stone walls did create a certain ambiance. This room does have a kitchen, so if you are staying for a few days and wish to dine in, you have plenty of cabinet space and room to cook. The "whirlpool tub" is for one person only. It is a regular size bathtub with a few whirlpool jets. We only had 2 hangers in the closet (they did bring us a few more when we asked) and there isn't a dresser or any cabinet to place non-hanging items. All in all, we felt a very poor value ($325 per night plus tax) for the room. The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast was two delicious courses .
