This motel is located across the street from what seems to be an abandoned shopping center and is not particularly close to the amenities of Waynesboro. The motel itself is quite run down and should not be under the Quality Inn brand. Our non-smoking room smelled like a combination of dirty feet and cigarettes, there was a large whole in the wall, there was a huge dead bug hanging from the ceiling, there was what seemed to be bodily fluid of some sort splurted and dried onto the wall next to the bed, there was melted red wax all along the edge of the sink and on the bathroom floor, the TV remote didn't work and the air conditioning unit smelled like it was burning. When we asked if another room might be available after explaining that the room was very dirty we were told that none were even though the parking lot was largely empty. We ended up putting our sleeping bags on top of the bed and sleeping inside of those, which is why we may have been spared the bed bug bites others reported. I would never recommend this hotel. It should be razed.
