Stayed here when I met my son,who is thru-hiking the AT, to hike a few days on the AT with him. Stayed one night. Got the hikers rate which made it not so bad, but would not want to pay the normal rate that you would find with this name brand property if it were on the Interstate. This name brand would not allow a property to be in a high traffic area that is in this poor condition. Everything worked in the room, had hot water, but it was just old. It was comfortable and was convenient to downtown. Could not rate it average because it's not the average you find with this brand if it were located next to an interstate. For hikers it's just what you need when you want a roof, hot water and ac and the free breakfast was fine. Hiker rate was $61.

This hotel is not at the highway exit like the other hotels, it is about four miles further into the older section of town. Still a safe area and seemed like a cute little town. We found our room to be spacious and we thought it was clean. We had a microwave, refrigerator, iron and coffee maker. We were here mid-week and it was very quiet. The breakfast room is small with only about four tables but it was adequate. There were more than enough food choices offered for breakfast. Very nice pool area too. Our only complaint was that my sister woke up with a large bug bite on her ear lobe.

... as I can assure you, the bed bugs at this hotel bite. I was kept up all night itching and scratching. Bed bugs were alive and well. I eventually fell asleep (managed only to get 4 hours). I woke up with disgusting red bite marks all over my legs. If you are concerned about your health, you will not reserve a room at this hotel.

Additionally, I would like to note that the blankets on BOTH beds in the room were littered with cigarette burns.

Overall, a foul and unsanitary accommodation.

Please, sleep outside in the grass if you must.

The staff was friendly enough, but that is where the "quality" ended. The room smelled and was dirty. The bed had cigarette holes in the bedspread and blanket. Worst of all, there were BED BUGS. We scratched all night, and in the morning were covered with red bug bites!!!
