This hotel has undergone three name and perhaps ownership changes since 2006...Formerlly a Hampton poreprty, then private, now it is a Best Western.
I know that a BW isn't like a Disney resort htel, but it isn't supposed to be the Knight's Inn, either...
Let me go though the list of issues...
1) not enough storage for three people (2 adults and one child, age 4) for five nights.
2) SAME EXACT HORRIBLE BREAKFAST EVERY MORNING. it was barely more than continental..The eggs...ugh....
3) The heater in the pool was broken....and the water was very cold...
4) Depending on the cleaning crew, the room was cleaned differently every day....
5) The weekend manager offered no adjustment to the bill due to the nature of complaints. The general manager has yet to call me back based on them...I have been waiting as of this posting over 18 hours...
6) It is beyond me how AAA could offer this place three diamond when it changed from Waller Mill Inn to BW on July 20th, 2008....
There are plenty of choices in WIlliamsburg, even at this price point. Go to one of those.
