Don't stay here just because it's close to the Prime Outlets. This place is depressingly old and dirty. Not charmingly old in the least bit. Other than a weak attempt to update with a granite countertop at the sink and poorly hung wallpaper, I would guess this place hasn't been updated since the late Eighties/early Nineties, maybe longer. The bed linens and the beds themselves were disgustlingly worn. An unintentional view of the surface of the box springs was horrifying. The headboards and alarm clock in my room had the collected residue from contact by previous guests. Housekeeping obviously feels no need to give any extra effort in cleaning such a dreary place. Surely the owners of this property or corporate will see the value in demolishing and rebuilding this property. An upscale development is going in on the side opposite the outlet stores. The City of Williamsburg should encourage an improvement. This place is shameful. Pay a little more and drive a mile or two more if you're looking for a place close the outlets. Really, any place you get in Williamsburg isn't going to be far from the outlets, so this property's close proximity should not be considered a selling point.
