1st of all the front desk clerk would not acknowledge I was there and kept answering the phone, even giving directions to the hotel to a potential customer. Then when finally checking in, they had my name correct and a completely different address. Once that was finally corrected, we went to our room afer driving for 6 hours from Pa. to find that our room was not cleaned yet. This room was for a king size bed and the bed was a mess and there were dirty towels all over the place. There was also a very bad musty smell and a smell comparable to not being cleaned for a few weeks. After going back and explaining to the front desk and also the head housekeeper, we were told that our original room that I booked thru AAA 6 weeks prior was not available and they had to give me this room. I dont care about that but still no excuse as to why they would send me to a room not cleaned yet. The head housekeeper then informed us they would spray some air freshner in the room. At this point I have had it with this place and she did not like us telling her the room needed alot more than air freshner. We were offered to stay in another room with 2 twin beds for a discount for 1 nite then have to move to our original room the next day. I really did not want to do this since we were planning on attending Busch Gardens for the next day would be very tired to move all of our belongings again from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor down the stairs since there are no elevators here. We checked out the room anyway, it was clean but still had a bad musty smell. I am an asthmatic and I shouldnt have to pay good money to sleep in a room like this. At that point we canceled our reservation and booked at a nearby Hotel.
