When we got to the restaurant my son had to go potty so I hit that first. It was dirty with papers on the floor. As I was in there an employee came in and checked herself in the mirror and ignored the mess. When we got to the table my arms seriously stuck to the edge of the table. So the first thing I did was ask the waiter to spray it down. He didnt seem to understand extra english so I asked a second time. He sent someone out who also didnt seem to speak english and looked confused so I explained it was dirty. He wiped the table down but it was still sticky. I took out some baby wipes (they clean everything) and scrubbed the edges myself. Every wipe came back black as if the side of the table had never been cleaned and the material in the wipes stuck to the side of the table it was that sticky. So I ended up just sticking paper napkins into it so I didnt have to rest my arms on it. Anyway it seems like th whole place was employeed by foreign imports from Russia or something which is why I titled about the Southern Experience.I mean you may be vacationing in the south and are at a rib joint but dont expect a "Hey Y'all" from this staff. The ribs were very good, the chicken nachos were even good (you have to like deep fried chips). My daughter had the catfsh and it was ok. You tast the coating more than fish but it was tasty. The potato salad was not cold. I was hoping it was because it was just made and not that it was sitting out. My husband didnt get sick so we will assume it was just made and didt have time in the fridge before serving. We are fans of this chain but I dont know that I would go ito this one again. I wish we would have tried Pierces instead.
