We ended up at Friendly's one night after a long day at Busch Gardens.

To make a long story short. Our waitress was completely incompetent. Service was extemely slow. Perhaps my sense of time was warped by my 2 year old's total impatience at having to wait (for each moment he felt he was waiting too long he demonstrated his displeasure by sceaming, crying, etc), which almost made we want to scream and cry. When food finally arrived, various mistakes were made. items needed to be sent back that weren't ordered, other things needed to be reordered. They were at the bottom of the barrel with the N.E. clam chowder, so what my wife and kids got was a watered down NE clam chowder - stretched out to fill 3 cups.

But my waitress wasn't stupid. She gave us the check, and when i went to the front thinking I would pay it and not leave a tip - who showed up at the register? That same waitress. Since she was big and mean looking, I added a small tip. never again.
