This was a real dissappointment ot me.

My husband is a connoisseur of baby back ribs, and these passed the test. He was a little hesitant to try them since the sauce touts peaches and Southern Comfort, but both he and my mother-in-law were quite content with the entree. I had the filet mignon, which was very tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the mashed red-skinned potatoes were a delicious complement. The wine prices were reasonable and there were a nice variety of desserts from which to choose.

I had also read the reviews about Aberdeen Barn and looked forward to eating there while we were on vacation in July 2007.

The restaurant is very dark. They served a basket of crackers instead of bread. My steak was not cooked as I had ordered it - though it was difficult to see! By the time the waiter returned to check on us, the rest of my family had almost finished eating, so when my dinner was returned to me to eat, they were all done. My husband and daughter enjoyed their steaks but they certainly could not be categorized as wonderful.

Our bill for 4 people was $100, which included a children's meal of chicken nuggets that cost $10!

We actually enjoyed our meal at Olive Garden more which really surprised me.

We enjoyed our meal here! It was not a fancy restaurant but nice atmosphere and very good service! Our waiter was Angelo and he was very attentive and prompt. As soon as you are seated, you receive a nice bowl of soft cheese with crackers and breadsticks. I had a very good Singapore Sling before dinner - made just right!
My husband and I both had very good filet mignons which were nice and tender. Warm rolls were served with the meal.
We did not have dessert as our meals were more than enough.
I would definately eat here again and it is best to have a reservation which we had. There was a small wait for a table when we were leaving.
