Excellent restaurant...was there the week of September 6, 2008 and it was awesome.....great tasting food, great portions and very good waitstaff. Only disappointment was $50 for a lobster tail.....being from New England this seemed a little steep but the delmonico steaks were cooked to perfection and i'm glad I faced the rains of Hannah to eat there.

Tried the Aberdeen Barn after reading review in Williamsburg travel guide. Prime rib was great, huge piece took half of it home with me.
Loved the crock of cheese to start with. They had wonderful homemade blue cheese salad dressing. Onion rings were also very good. The place reminds me of steak houses my parents use to take us to when we were growing up in the 1960s. Will go back next time I'm in town.

The restaurant is a "throwback" to old time steak houses. The atmosphere is warm but not overly formal; excellent old fashioned waiter. The steak was excellent and properly cooked. The salad dressing and baked potato fixings are brought to the table. The scallops and shrimp were quite good - not as good as the steak. A bit pricey, but worth it (about 25.00 to 30.00 per person). Not a place to take kids though - get the sitter and enjoy yourself at this fine place.

We dined at Aberdeen during our Williamsburg vacation and enjoyed the meal. My husband and I both had prime rib. It was moist and tasty. If you like dry prime rib, this is not the place for you. Salad, rolls, and a side (I had baked potato) accompanied the meal. We had water to drink. Our bill was $55. We would return to Aberdeen.
