My family and I really enjoyed our dinner at Sal's. My kids shared a pizza, which they loved, just like home. My husband ordered the Seafood Thermadore. He liked it a lot, but couldn't finish it because he filled up on an appetizer of Mussels and bread. I ordered the Veal Victor (pan seared veal, artichoke hearts, roasted pepper strips in a light olive oil) and there wasn't a thing left on my plate. The dinners come with a side salad. The portions were just right. Not huge, and not small. Mine also came with a side of linguine.
Our waiter, wish I could remember his name, was attentive and very friendly.
The bill was very reasonable. At least $40 less than what we would usually pay for back in NY. That was a nice surprise!
I would recommend this restaurant, and would even suggest that the past poster who got there on a bad night, give it another try.
