“Great Location; Premiere Lodging; Superior Staff”

Eagle Harbor Inn is a boutique residence that provides top of the line accomodations, a great location (15 minute walk from Bainbridge Island Ferry), walking distance to good food, movies, shopping and the like.

We chose this property because we did not want to rent a car. It was beyond what one normally finds in this location and we'd say that it is the newest upscale property available for rent in Winslow.

The accomodations were great and decorated to a high end degree. There is an elevator in this unit so it's great for a non-ambulatory visitor and the facilities inside are "off the chain." There is a gourmet kitchen in the unit we rented and we were able to offset our stay further by getting our boys their breakfast meal at the unit plus we fixed a great dinner or two with wine and seafood garnered from the Pike Place Market in Seattle.

Having stayed in Seattle in the past, this Bainbridge Island vacation at the Eagle Harbor Inn was equally romantic, convenient and provided the right mix of ambience and upscale amenities that are hard to find in one off properties.

The owners, Bonnie and Cihan were delightful and yet they gave you space and privacy. I recommend the Eagle Harbor Inn without hesitancy.

“Fantastic Place for a Family Visit or Romantic Retreat”

My wife, 2 teen daughters and I just spent 3 nights at Eagle Harbor. We loved it. Beautifully maintained, located with a perfect view of the harbor, and within just feet of Winslow shopping.

The facility was great (including garaged parking for the townhome with an elevator to the 2 floors), gourmet kitchen. I could not have asked for a better Bainbridge location or experience.

“Great location”

The Eagle Harbor Inn

4 of 5 stars
Austin, TX
May 5, 2008

This is a lovely property in a great location. The only reason that I did not give this a five star rating is due to noise level of the street and the fact that there is no one onsite. Our code didn't work when we arrived but we managed to contact the management by phone quickly. A personal note or contact of some kind would have gone a long way toward making this a five star experience.

We were very satisfied with the quality of the room and furnishings. We would most definitely stay here again.

“A nice inn but....”

The Eagle Harbor Inn

4 of 5 stars
Louisville, Kentucky
Mar 18, 2008

We just completed a two night stay at the inn. I must agree that the location is outstanding. A short two block walk up the road leads to lovely, downtown Winthrop. A block in the other direction leads to the harbor, a locally popular pub and the earlier mentioned Pegasus Coffee House. Keep in mind that the inn is close to the road and even on weekends traffic noise can be considerable.

We stayed in the Port Blakely suite, a room with a king sized bed and a large shower (no tub). Frankly, there are some safety issues in the bathroom. The walk in shower is dark. There is no light in the shower, nor is there a grab bar. The floor of the shower quickly becomes slippery. The tile floor of the bathroom is cold in March. No rugs were provided and we did not have a bath mat the first night of our stay.

If you like "muddy" colors, you will enjoy the room decorations. Heavy, dark gold curtains, bedding, etc. Reminded me of the 1970s. We never say a living soul during our two night stay. The entry code system worked perfectly. The code was e-mailed to us several days before our scheduled arrival. Our room was cleaned while we were out. Our son lives on Bainbridge Island and we spent our waking hours with him. If you enjoy talking to inn keepers, you might find this arrangement not to your liking.

“Architect-designed splendor”

The Eagle Harbor Inn

Feb 20, 2008

Excellent place to stay, the best in Kitsap County by far, and rivals most Inns in nearby Seattle. Architect-designed flairs and wonderful, modern appliances made this a wonderful, relaxing, quiet stay. Its location a block away from the main business district and across the street from the wonderful Pegasus Coffee and Eagle Harbor Marina put it into one of the most beautiful locations in the state. Highly recommended!
