I usually stay here 5 nights in a row a couple times a year. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Bellevue and opposite the Bellevue shopping with a number of good restaurants in its proximity. Especially if you are on one of the top floors, the view is great and from the south side you have a wonderful view over Lake Washington. The quality of the hotel is what you normally expect from a Hyatt hotel, and no complaints on that side. However me (and my collegues) felt a bit unfairly treat with regards to the breakfast: usually in this kind of hotel you pay a fixed price for the buffet and pretty much all you want is there. However, the buffet is very small and half of the things that you would normally expect (like toast, jam, orange juice) is not available. The waiters offer to bring that separately, to later find out that all of the non-buffet items have to be paid separately. For example we only took one yoghurt from the buffet but had to pay the buffet price + the a la carte price for the additional items which easily adds up to $30. This does not look very fair if you pay over $200 room rate. Moreover, if one stays in a hotel while on a business trip you want to be able to have a quick breakfast instead of waiting for waiters all the time: it easily takes 45 minutes to have a normal breakfast. The same thing goes for the minibar: it is empty, so you have to order expensive room service even if you just want to have a soda. This is not very convenient...
