“Nice hotel in residential like area”

Fairfield Inn Seattle Bellevue

4 of 5 stars
Massachusetts
Nov 15, 2007

When I usually come to this area for meetings I typically stay at one of the Marriott properties on the Bellevue - Redmond town line. These are located in a quiet almost neighbourhood like location immediately off a freeway exit. There is easy access to downtown Bellevue as well as Redmond further to the north.

I have stayed at the Fairfield quite a few times over the last couple of years. Rooms are quite typical of this chain in their layout and amenities - nothing special here. Still, great quiet and comfortable accommodations is all I'm looking for. This facility is always clean and immaculate and the staff has likewise been very helpful.

“Convenient for Microsoft Campus”

Fairfield Inn Seattle Bellevue

3 of 5 stars
Apeldoorn, The Netherlands
Nov 6, 2007

With the Microsoft Campus just a few blocks away this hotel (on the premise you'll find three Marriott hotels) is a good stay if you need to see some people there. Its (almost) walking distance.

But that's it - for all other activities you need to get into your car and drive a couple of miles to either Bellevue Downtown with its mall and fancier restaurants or to Seattle to get to see its attractions.

Breakfast is included - and you prepare your own meal from a good variety. I liked the waffles.

“Nice and clean”

Fairfield Inn Seattle Bellevue

Aug 25, 2007

We went with our two kids for a couple of nights getaway.
The hotel is in a nice setting and pretty easy to get around.
Our room was pretty basic, but clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good (not great) and the breakfast room was really busy, on the Saturday morning we couldn't even get a seat. The indoor pool is quite small but the kids still had lots of fun swimming in it. All in all we had a very pleasant stay.

“Great location”

Fairfield Inn Seattle Bellevue

May 11, 2007

I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very helpful as well. The variety of choices for breakfast was better than the typical Fairfield. For $189.00 in the Bellevue area this hotel was well worth it! I will definitely stay here again!

“Nice but thin walls”

Fairfield Inn Seattle Bellevue

Mar 4, 2007

While this facility is nice and clean and off the beaten path, we discovered the walls were very thin. Out night of sleep was great until about 4:00am we heard much commotion on both sides, i.e. much chatter, hair dryer running, people running up and down the halls, etc. We discovered there was a large tour group staying there the same evening which was leaving early and had arranged for an early breakfast. Needless to say, the night of rest ended at that point. While I could have contacted the desk as was suggested when I registered a complaint upon checking out, I really don't think it would have made any difference. The breakfast wasn't bad but not great. The pool is nice but very small. I don't think I'd stay here again unless they could guarantee me there would be no one on either side of us and hopefully not a large tour group staying at the same time.

    • Disliked — thin walls: too much noise the night we stayed
