1. Overall Impressions

Rooms can only be called a suites by a tremendous, prize-winning leap of imagination, but are clean and pleasant.

2. Layout

Two facing elevators just past the lobby, stairs at each end of a rectangular building.

3. Beds

Satisfactory.

4. Bathrooms

Satisfactory. Towel exfoliation factor: 7.5 (If you want soft towels, bring your own from home). Good selection of soap, shampoo: Marriott brands all seem to have a good selection.

5. Restaurants

Forget about it and go out to eat. There is a breakfast: fruits, yogurt, cereal, bagels, that sort of thing. Don’t touch the eggs and breakfast meats, though.

6. Front desk

Very insistent about initialing the non-smoking policy, recognized elite member by name.

7. Charges (internet, parking, etc)

The hotel does not charge for WiFi or parking. Not sure if the free WiFi is because I was Platinum at check-in time.

8. Other

Wifi seems slow-slow-slow. 25% packet loss. In room coffee is surprisingly good: Royal Cup’s “Artisan Blend”. Don’t get me wrong, it does not compare with Boca Java but it’s better than Starbucks.

Located in a very nice, clean, quiet corporate and residential neighborhood about a mile or two from I-405. Hotel looked new, modern, and very clean. Our room was clean and fresh. Bed was super comfortable...not too hard or soft...did not sink in the middle or at the edges. Nice mini livingroom/kitchen area off to the side with couch, tv, desk, fridge, and micro for a bit more space.

I used the pool and hot tub area. Very clean and refreshing.

I used the small guest laundry which worked out very well.

Some nice snacks to choose from near the front desk, one of which I warmed up in the micro in my room.

A small hot breakfast buffet...it was ok.

Hotel staff very nice.

Good location for things we enjoy and needed:

We ate dinner at the delicous Bonefish Grill about 2 exits up I-405 from the hotel.

We took advantage of REI in Redmond and Whole Foods Market in Bellevue, both fairly close by, to get supplies before heading into the mountains for our 2 week hiking adventure.

I've been staying at the Bothell Spring Hill Suites all summer on a business project and it has been a home away from home. The staff is friendly and accomodating. They have free wireless in all the rooms which is a plus since most business hotels charge for internet. The rooms are clean and comfortable and they have onsite coin washer and dryer, and include free breakfast and fresh baked cookies at the front desk in the evening! Bothell is a pretty far out from Seattle but still a good location for the Seattle area too for weekend sightseeing, especially for wineries in Woodinville.

Our family decided to take a spur of the moment vacation to Seattle during the BC long weekend in August. We had checked out prices in DT seattle but were floored by both prices and the cost to park. We expanded the search and found this hotel in Bothell. What a wonderful stay. We checked in without incident, out room was ready, by not being familiar with the area we asked the frontdesk about shoppind and restaurants, completely prepared with maps and ideas, the young lady behind the desk knew everything was very helpful and friendly. We used the indoor pool daily, our son loved the ability to splash and play. Every morning there was a breakfast with an assortment of items, toast, fruit, cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, pastry, something for everyone. This breakfast was well attended each day we were there and space is at a premium so you may have to wait for a table, no big deal. The staff always made sure the breakfast was fresh and area was clean. This location had quick access to the freeway and we were in DT Seattle within 15 minutes each day. This hotel for the price and location was great, we saved a few dollars that allowed us to enjoy more of the sights in Seattle.
