This is a clean, safe and comfortable hotel. The location is great, but it's a little hard to find. It's located in a business park without much signage. Most restaurants are a few miles away. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

My wife and I just returned from a fantastic four-night stay at the Springhill Suites in Bothell. We chose this hotel because we were using Marriott points, and got an incredible deal compared to other hotels in downtown Seattle (four nights for the price of one Saturday night stay at the Springhill Suites in downtown Seattle). It's 25 minute drive to Seattle, and if there's more than one of you the HOV lanes will get you there with little hassle.

The hotel room itself was spacious and included a mini fridge, microwave, and extra sink - useful for a couple that likes to economize and make a meal out of restaurant leftovers. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was average. The curtains covering the window did not completely block out the light. The maid service was a bit below average. We noticed they did not vacuum each day, and did not sweep the bathroom floor before mopping. Otherwise, the maid service was as expected.

The breakfast each morning was excellent. Although the variety of food did not change from day to day, there was plenty to choose from, and the food seemed fresh. There was fresh fruit and juice, oatmeal, milk, yogurt, waffles, sausage, eggs, and a variety of pastries. There are also fresh-baked cookies Sunday through Thursday evenings.

We would gladly stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind driving a few miles into town to save a lot on the nightly rate.

We paid $99 per night thru Expedia (pay in advance) and we were very happy with the hotel.

The location is convenient to I-405 but not so close you hear the freeway.

The room was spacious with 2 TVs, a desk, a couch, a small refer and a small microwave.

The cleaning staff was thorough and pleasant.

The morning breakfast was one of the best free buffet breakfasts that we have had in a hotel in this price range -- and the sausage and eggs WERE good (unlike the last reviewer stated).

I will agree that the free wifi was a bit slow, especially at night.

We will return again on our next visit to the Seattle area in a month or so.

1. Overall Impressions

Rooms can only be called a suites by a tremendous, prize-winning leap of imagination, but are clean and pleasant.

2. Layout

Two facing elevators just past the lobby, stairs at each end of a rectangular building.

3. Beds

Satisfactory.

4. Bathrooms

Satisfactory. Towel exfoliation factor: 7.5 (If you want soft towels, bring your own from home). Good selection of soap, shampoo: Marriott brands all seem to have a good selection.

5. Restaurants

Forget about it and go out to eat. There is a breakfast: fruits, yogurt, cereal, bagels, that sort of thing. Don’t touch the eggs and breakfast meats, though.

6. Front desk

Very insistent about initialing the non-smoking policy, recognized elite member by name.

7. Charges (internet, parking, etc)

The hotel does not charge for WiFi or parking. Not sure if the free WiFi is because I was Platinum at check-in time.

8. Other

Wifi seems slow-slow-slow. 25% packet loss. In room coffee is surprisingly good: Royal Cup’s “Artisan Blend”. Don’t get me wrong, it does not compare with Boca Java but it’s better than Starbucks.
