What a wonderful, quiet, country setting and yet close to quaint La Conner for an artful experience.

This is the second year in a row that 7 of us have stayed at Queen of the Valley Inn in LaConner. Shelly and Chris are wonderful hosts, the food is fantastic and service is outstanding. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable including a never ending coffee pot. They made arrangements for dinner reservations, spa therapy or what ever our hearts desired.

The rooms are generous in size, nice bathroom, and special little touches like "spa robes' so that you can lounge around and have a relaxing breakfast.

We just enjoyed a memorable family weekend at the Queen of the Valley Inn in La Conner, WA.

Shelly hosted the most fabulous surprise tea party for my sister's 50th birthday!! I left the details up to her and she amazed us all with her creative ideas and fabulous pastries.

The sunny, enclosed porch was perfect for the tea party and it was a beautiful day to enjoy the front steps, too. The house is naturally inviting with the warm woodwork, wood stove and relaxing decor. There is nothing stuffy about this royal home.

My sisters and I later stayed up too late chatting and watching a movie in the unique two-bedroom suite on the third floor. It has great views of the surrounding farmland complete with window seats in both rooms. My husband and two boys (3 & 6-yrs old) joined me for a second night and they loved it just as much as the girls did. The king size bed was amazing--I slept so well I didn't move at all for two nights in a row.

It's a great place for a family gathering or getaway in La Conner!!

My wife and I stayed at the Queen of the Valley Inn during the Skagit River Poetry Festival the weekend of May 19-20th. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this warm, cozy and comfortable B&B. Our hosts, Chris and Shelly Davis, made us feel completely at home from the very moment of our arrival, and they were ever gracious and accommodating throughout our stay. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and quite generous; the room large, quiet and homey; and the shower complete with soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser! We had, at most, a ten minute drive to our various festival events in the charming town of La Conner, WA. We can hardly wait to return and visit La Conner and stay with our friends at the Queen of the Valley Inn.
