If you are headed to La Conner, this is the place to stay! The inn is set up beautifully, cleaned to perfection, and our room was gorgeous. (The guestrooms seem to be all individually decorated.) Fantastic king bed with impeccable bedding, huge soaking tub in the room and all the amenities you could ask for. Quiet, wonderfully comfortable, romantic if that's what you're looking for. Love that your breakfast is in a dining room but with your own table - delicious 3 course breakfast. The "innkeepers" / owners, Lori and Steve, are the nicest people ever - incredible hospitality that made us feel right at home. They recommended a great bike ride out of Anacortes, topping off our stay. Don't miss the Wild Iris!

My husband and I stayed at the Wild Iris Inn for a two night getaway. It was perfect for this. The deluxe king rooms are decadent, the view over the fields behind the Inn peaceful, and the breakfast was a marvel! (You certainly have no room for lunch after it.) The atmosphere in the Inn makes one feel right at home, but is utterly professional. Although we stayed in one of the more expensive rooms, a peek inside the smaller rooms revealed the same tasteful attention to comfort and aesthetics. The shopping starts a block from the Inn and the main shopping street is about three blocks away. I would certainly book at the Wild Iris Inn again.

We have stayed here 2 times and it is the best! The rooms are very cute and very clean. The breakfast is so delicious and generous. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are cookies waiting for you in your room when you check in. La Conner is a fun place to explore for the day. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We stayed here for two nights. The owners are extremely friendly helpful and generous. Breakfasts delicious. It is well worth the extra for the King rooms for the sheer size of the hot tub, bed, deck...luxury.

“Our favorite place in the world”

The Wild Iris Inn

Jul 7, 2008

This is one of our favorite places to stay. Steve and Lori are exceptional hosts and aim to please. The Wild Iris is incredibly beautiful and it's my husband and my favorite place to be in the whole world. I can't say enough about it. The decorations and decor are a feast to the eyes - from the flowers in and around the inn to even the little birds that hold your sugar/creamer on the breakfast tables - no corner has been overlooked without a beautiful touch. We love to have our door open to the outside of our room and sit on the balcony overlooking the fields. We stay here quite a bit and even made it our vacation spot one summer. The breakfast is devine and everyone that works there is so nice. I look forward to our next visit. Tom & Wendeline C
