I stayed at the Best Western Lake Inn & Conference Center for two nights in mid-October on my way to and from a college football game in Pullman, WA. Due to a tight travel schedule and last-minute flight scheduling, I had to fly into Seattle (5.5hours from Pullman) in the evening and opted to stay halfway, at Moses Lake. I found the hotel on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. Overall I was satisfied, it slightly exceeded expectations and offered a pleasant stay on both nights.
My room was large and felt comfortable. The accommodations were slightly outdated, but I didn't expect them to be. The room had a balcony and view of the lake --pleasant, but I left both morning just after dawn so I couldn't really enjoy it. The hotel staff was polite and courteous.
The breakfast is nothing dazzling, but has some solid choices that varied on both days: they included, pancakes, sausages, waffles, biscuits & gravy. I can't complain about any of them, and it was a welcome inclusion with the room rate. The dinner I had was fairly good --nothing spectacular (which I would never expect in area), but not bad either. Service was good in the evening.
I cannot speak for what this hotel is like for vacationers in the Moses Lake area, but for a person going cross country its a pleasant stay. I believe this was the off-season, so the hotel didn't appear to be too busy.
Overall the service and convenience made this hotel a good stopover. I felt I took a slight risk in booking it for both nights, especially after reading a few negative reviews on TripAdvisor --but in the end I would consider staying there again.
Recommended.
