We'd heard The Ark was a great place to eat, but it was awful! First of all, it took an hour to get the food, simple fish and chips and a salad. The portions were way too small. The fish and chips were drenched in grease... so much that I thought I would be sick if I actually ate it. Scraped the breading off and exposed a cube of white fish that was moderately edible. The limp and grease-soaked fries went into the trash. The salad was good but so tiny! They seemed to attempt to make up for the small portions by offering several rolls... in fact, the rolls were the only thing that filled us up. Very disappointing and definitely not recommended. I asked a local about it and she told me that the place changed hands two years ago and has been terrible ever since. Beware!
