We made reservations at this motel because it was the only place near Long Beach that didn't want to charge us an extra $20 for our toddler and baby to stay. We thought it would be alright based on the reviews here, but we were sadly mistaken. The place was horrible. When we arrived, the staff made us pay for the 2 nights we reserved up front. Once in our room, we discovered the carpet was still damp from being cleaned and didn't dry by the time we left the next morning. The bedspreads and chairs were also damp. Things were falling off or falling apart everywhere such as the lock on the door (which had been broken and never replaced), the fan in the bathroom, the shower curtain rod, the rusty Kleenex holder, etc. The entire floor was sloping is places so that we could see into the hallway under our door on one side. The window did not shut all the way, so it stayed open about 2 inches all night, and it was cold. Oh, and there was a booger on our bedspread and a couple smeared on the wall in the bathroom! I didn't let my baby crawl on the floor at all. We stayed only one night and asked to be refunded for the second night, and they finally did, but reluctantly. We will never be staying here again, especially for the outrageous price we paid for the quality we got. Do not stay here with young children.
