“Lovely Time at the Sheraton Maui”

Sheraton Maui Resort

We stayed at the Sheraton Maui in January 2006 for four nights in a ground floor room that was spacious and about 50 yards from the Black Rock beach. We liked our room a lot. The only improvement I hope they have made was the little worn out carpeting. Other than that, we really enjoyed the room which had a living room separate from the bedroom.

The facilities were beautiful and had fantastic views of the ocean and Lanai. There were multiple buildings on the property, and each seemed to have great views. We had breakfast at the hotel one time, and thought it was very good though a little pricey. From the hotel, it was an easy walk on a paved path to Whaler's Village for more dining options and shopping.

The staff that we dealt with were great -- the valet guys and concierge who helped us booked some snorkeling excursions.

“Perfect Aloha Spirit at the Maui Sheraton”

Sheraton Maui Resort

The Sheraton Maui at Black Rock is the best hotel on Kaanapali Beach. I've stayed at the Hyatt, Marriott and Westin in Kaanapali and the Sheraton is by far my favorite. Not only is their property on the best snorkeling spot along Kaanapali Beach, the Sheraton is a beautiful property with a true Hawaiian feel. Unlike the other hotels - the Sheraton is a low rise property that blends beautifully into the surroundings. The pool is very nice - it meanders through the grounds giving the guests spectacular views along the way. One big plus is the availability of deck chair and shade - unlike the other Kaanapali hotels where one has to arrive early in the morning to stake out a spot. The staff was very welcoming and everyone had a true Aloha spirit. Everyone we talked to - from the valet, to the bellman, to the pool staff, to the maids - they were all genuinely eager to do what ever they could to make our stay special. Our stay was indeed special and I look forward to returning.

“Great Resort in Paradise”

Sheraton Maui Resort

My wife and I spent 7 nights (checked out May 2nd) at the Sheraton Maui and this resort was great. This resort seems like it truly belongs in Maui and was not one of the high-raise hotels so it fit perfectly on the beach.

The pools were great with lagoons connecting the two pools. The beach was great as was the fire cliff diving which occurred nightly.

The breakfast menu was fantastic, although a little pricey. Fresh pineapple and other fruits daily.

Truly a great resort in paradise.

For a day trip consider flying to Oahu (only an short 45 min plane ride) and take a drive up to the North Shore.

Wow, what a beautiful resort ! i took my best friend to Maui for her 50th birthday. We had a wonderful time from start to finish. We had our room up graded upon arrival. The whole staff was exceptional. The beach area was terrific ! The breakfast buffet was so delicious every day. We are already planning to go back in 2 years to celebrate my 50th birthday. The trip of a lifetime--stay at the Sheraton Maui, for sure !!! It can't be beat !!!!!!! BEST PLACE TO STAY !!!!!

“Maui, Wowi”

Sheraton Maui Resort

We stayed at the Sheraton during our honeymoon and were upgraded to a deluxe ocean view room. We couldn't have asked for a better room- champagne on ice, huge bathroom and amazing view from the balcony!!

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly, and everyone has the Aloha spirit that you read about. Nothing is too much trouble. The food and drinks that we had, although being quite pricey, were very tasty whether we ate from the pool bar or main restaurants. I'd definately recommend the Pina Coladas!

The hotel grounds were spotless, and beach on the doorstep.

The only downside was that it got very quiet on an evening and there was very little entertainment, something that I'm sure improves in peak period, however as we were there to relax it didn't really matter.
