We have stayed at the Noelani for the last three years and are going back this February. Our favorite room is at the northern end of the complex, on the second floor. The ocean is so close it sounds like it is coming in the room and it almost sounds the same as when we are on a cruise. The property is well maintained. The complex is small but I think that has a lot to do with why we like it so much. Yes, Bruce is a real help in planning activities and can solve problems if something does not go right on a tour/activity. Watching the whales, turtles, surfers & meeting people from all over is great. We have travelled all the islands and like coming back to the Noelani.

- carry binoculars and dont miss whales, dolphins from the lanai and turtles right below on the rocks (in winter)
- very well furnished decent aptmt even with extras like beach chair, umbrella!
- tiny functional gym with good view
- reception not as friendly as expected
- don't miss the farmer's market

We just returned from a five day stay at the Noelani over the busy Christmas season. It was wonderful! Like someone else on here said, you never know what you are going to get when you book a condo online, but this was a great experience!

My husband and I do not like crowds, and it was great that the Noelani was located far enough away from Kaanapali and Lahaina, but those areas were still accessible by car (10 min. and 15 min, respectively). We had a deluxe studio that was right on the ocean. The studio was clean and well kept. Everything was there in the kitchen that you needed.

The management was friendly and helpful.

All in all, I would highly recommend the Noelani to anyone looking for a good value in a great location! I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Noelani from Dec. 1-6 for our destination wedding. We had family that stayed in Unit #302 and #303. We personally stayed in Unit #302 and it was a tad outdated, it was clean and it had the comforts of home. It had a master bedroom with its own bathroom and a lanai with a gorgeous view of the ocean. It then had 2 other bedrooms with 2 queen beds. The property is on the water, but walking distance to actual sand, the area looks big rocks. Unit#303 seemed to have been updated more recently and was in better condition. It had 2 master suites with their own bathrooms and the downstairs bedroom had 2 twin beds. The Noelani also had a welcome breakfast the morning after we arrived which was beneficial in getting pointers on what to do on the island. Just be prepared that their is no air conditioning, but there was a great breeze from the ocean. It got muggy a few nights after it had rained. It can also get a little noisy in the mornings with traffic when you have the windows open, so I would suggest ear plugs.
