Stayed at Royal Lahaina Resort end of March/beginning of April. Had booked an oceanfront cottage last year for our stay but was told not available upon check in due to renovations. We were then upgraded to an oceanfront room in the main section of thehotel at no extra charge. Rooms are very nice & spacious, very comfortbale beds. Can't wait to see how the cottages turn out. Staff very friendly, always smiling & willing to resolve any problems one may have or just answer any question. The food in the hotel's restaurant was delicious also. Grounds & pools are very nice. We were one of the many stranded by ATA airlines & the Resort made sure no one would be without a place to stay & offered a very substantial discounted rate if our stay were to be extended. Overall I was very satisfied with the hotel: looks, cleanliness, friendliness. I have no doubt if I'm ever able to get back to Maui, the Royal Lahaina will be my hotel of choice.

My wife and I were married on the beach there in July of 2007. The rooms were fantastic with awesome views very romantic.
We are planning on going back next winter.

Stayed 10 days at the Royal Lahaina. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff were outstanding. They all went out of their way to keep their guests happy. We stayed in the Tower and the rooms are beautiful. True, the cottages look tired, but they were in the process of painting and reroofing many of them while we were there, despite the fact that they are to be torn down soon to build villas.
The pools are unremarkable compared to other area hotels, but the beach is gorgeous.
We recommend this hotel to all. Our teenage kids loved it as well.

This was our second stay at the Royal Lahaina Resort. It was the most fabulous stay! we were at the hotel for 8 days. Our room had the most beautiful view of the ocean! The staff at the hotel is amazing, each time we returned from being away we were greeted with a welcome home. we truly felt that this was home for 8 days. The beach is amazing, the snorkling within 3-5 minute walk of the hotel is amazing and the quiet pool and grounds are just wonderful. we really love every aspect of this hotel and highly recommend it! we will be planning another trip very soon and can't wait for another fabulous week in Maui! Thank you Royal Lahaina for making our Spring Break so wonderful! we always tell people about your incredible hotel!
