We did the night tour and it was absolutely freezing. Be sure to dress warmly. Riding a Segway is an absolute blast, and the views from the Aquatic Park pier are tremendous, but I was disappointed. After taking the Segway tour of Kansas City, our SF tour guide was disappointing. He was a funny guy, but the tour was sorely lacking in historical, cultural, architectural, and geographical info. Great fun, but poor value for money.
One of the people in our party was not comfortable on the Segway, and opted out of the tour. Their policy is only to offer a 50% refund because she "watched the (safety) video". They charged the full fare, and I'm still waiting for the refund.

Yes it is cold in San Francisco.. generally in the 50's for both our night and day tours. It can also be windy on the waterfront.. We have both warm jackets (in every size) and gloves for use by our guests. Each segway has a handlebar bag to store the jacket if not used by the guests. We do encourage guest to not wear shorts and flip flops plus bring a extra layer to keep the waterfront chill away.
Many of our Segway tours are sold out. Advance reservations are required so that the correct amount of Segways and guides are on hand and ready to go for each customer/ group. We run very small tours with no more than 9 guests. We offer a large discount in the rare case that a guest feels uncomfortable or unsure and does not want to go on the complete tour. All refunds are handled promptly.
We have upgrade both our tour information and radio equipment to make the narration easier to hear and more informative.
Come see us in San Francisco or Sausalito.
