Stayed here for one night just before departing San Francisco for the drive down to LA,Booked a Junior Suite and was in room 2020.

I was impressed with the corner location,a fabulous comfy King Size bed,the large HD TV ,the size of the room and very good bathroom facilities.

Good Views from the corner room over to AT&T park and Bay Bridge and not far to walk to the shops at Union square

Used the Club room facility for free Internet use

Ate breakfast in the morning at the restaurant and thought my particular waiter was not up to scratch, bill was wrong and service was slow.At this standard of hotel you should not keep having to ask for things.Food was ok but I had eaten a lot better for less money around union square

Loved the Room, the lobby staff and door staff were very pleasant and made a great first impression. The Hotel car to the airport was also good value compared to Taxi's.

Would stay again at the Hotel if i could get similar good weekend rate

Ok, it is all new, clean and not bad location if you like shopping in San Francisco ( Union sq is just a few blocks walking from the hotel). I must say hotel staff is indeed very friendly, happy and willing to help you. But beside that I do not understand excitement of the previous reviewers of this hotel. It is just one of typical business hotels with nothing really special... No ambiance at all. The gym room is far too small for such a big hotel, that was really dissapointment. The swimming pool is quite as long as there 2 or 3 swimmers you can do lap swimming.
If you are on business and just need a good bed then this is perfect place. If you are on holidays or looking for the hotel with some ambiance, go somewhere else. And then again...if you are on business, wifi is not free of charge....Come on...who charges for wifi these days?? In most of the hotels wifi is complimentary and part of the service....

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel San Francisco for a conference next door at the Moscone Center in the downtown district -- and was most impressed with the happy staff. These people were genuinely giddy with their luck at having landed a job at the new property. They're proud of the place and it just shows in their attitude toward guests.

I paid a slightly higher price to be located on one of their coveted "Club Floors" but was well rewarded for the price difference. The club was open most all of the day and evening hours and was always staffed, again, with those happy and friendly employees.

Checking out of this hotel, I actually felt a small sadness that I would be leaving -- a first for me when it comes to business travel.

I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait till I have another assignment in San Francisco (I'm a medical writer).
