“Great!!!!!!!!”

Radisson Hotel Boston

4 of 5 stars
Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada
Apr 16, 2008

Sept, 2007 my wife and I stayed three nights at the Radisson while in town to sight see and attend a Pats game. The location of the hotel is ideal and is walking distance to everything i.e Boston Commons, Faniuel Hall, Back Bay Shopping, etc.

The hotel itself was as impressive as its location. The rooms were a good size and the king size sleep number bed was very comfortable. The staff were also very helpful. We arrived very early (9 am) and were provided with our room. Initlally our room was situated next to the elevator and was a little too noisey for me. The front desk staff provided me with another key to a room to see if it was more to my liking. It was! Great view, great layout, great bathroom. Also, John, the concierge, was without a doubt the best in the business. Very helpful!

We're heading to Boston again in May/08 but unfortunatley the rate for the hotel was too expensive for us. We paid $209/night back in Sept. I wish more subscribers would add in what they paid so that readers would have a good idea on what to expect and where to find the best deals. Boston can be a very expensive to stay.

“Good points, bad points”

Radisson Hotel Boston

2 of 5 stars

Apr 15, 2008

We stayed here for three nights with our teenage sons. We had two rooms;one overlooked the building site and downtown to a shabbier part of the city, the other had better views of the city although there was a lot of street noise on Saturday night. Good points: the rooms are immaculate and the bathrooms are spotlessly clean; the staff are efficient ( if not particularly friendly); Starbucks ( for breakfast) and Legal Seafoods (the best seafood restaurant I've been to) are across the road; easy access to the main attractions of the city.
Bad points: HATED the beds. They seemed like glorified air-beds where you adjust the firmness by inflating or deflating- I woke with a sore back each morning; too much corridor noise from inconsiderate guests, this was every night including 3.30am on Sunday morning. However, we enjoyed the city very much and everything we wanted to do was walkable but I would not choose this hotel again.

“GREAT CHOICE”

Radisson Hotel Boston

4 of 5 stars
Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Apr 7, 2008

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel and really enjoyed, big comfortable bedrooms with amazing views (Ask for a city view room, high floor)It seems the bathrooms have been recently upgraded and were really great.Don't get me wrong this is a very ugly hotel from outside and the lobby could do with an upgrade but if you want a great location with very friendly helpful staff(-Wendy springs to mind)that is remarkably quiet it is a great value choice.

“Good location, great pool, helpful service”

Radisson Hotel Boston

4 of 5 stars
Switzerland
Apr 4, 2008

We stayed at the Radisson in Boston for 3 nights in March 2008. The hotel is easy to find and we had a fantastic view from our window. The room was clean and a good size. We couldn't work out how to make the water come out of the bath tap rather than the shower so kids couldn't have baths. The kids enjoyed the pool and the small fitness room has glass walls so you can watch the kids swim while you work out. We had dinner at the Rustic Kitchen one night - my scallops were fabulous - and the breakfast buffet was great. Great advice and directions from the concierge.

“Great stay in downtown Boston”

Radisson Hotel Boston

4 of 5 stars
Minnesota
Apr 1, 2008

Recently spent our first weekend in Boston at the Radisson and we were very pleased with the experience. The hotel is located in a safe area and very near Boston Commons, the Freedom Trail and T-Stops. We received a very reasonable rate, the staff was friendly and helpful and the room clean and comfortable. If you like seafood, be sure to eat at Legal Seafood which is adjacent to the hotel. We very much enjoyed downtown Boston, would love to come back, and would definitely stay at the Raddison again.
