Family of four stayed here during Indepence Day week, and I can't think of a single negative ething to say. It's not a new hotel, but the cleanliness and layout of the rooms was A-okay. In particular, let me note the abundance of closet space. Desk staff were pleasant and helpful.
Valet parking isn't cheap, but so, so convenient. Asian restaurant at the front entrance was very nice, and so much better than schlepping over to Chinatown. For an evening stroll we could walk about 4 blocks in one direction to the City Hall, or in another through the outdoor fountains to the Museums.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I got a good deal for a room in this hotel. As some of the other reviews have said, it's not the most up to date property, but my room was clean and well-equipped including a hair dryer, ironing board and full kitchen (with toaster!). The beds were comfortable. It was a little noisy, but it was mainly traffic noise from the street which is to be expected in a city centre property.

The continental breakfast had plenty of choices and you could take food up to your room if needed.

The free wi-fi was patchy but the computers in the business centre off the lobby were much appreciated and the wired connection worked well with my friend's laptop.

Arriving in Philadelphia after a long drive, we were dismayed to find that the Windsor Suites had no reservation for us. Turns out they had booked it for the previous month and had gone so far as to charge us a no-show fee for their mistake! Kind Abi at the front desk found us a room in their rather full hotel and advised us to speak with the manager, James Zhang, the next day. We had to wait around the hotel for an hour in the morning till he was out of a meeting, then he contacted us by phone. He was not helpful, acting as if it was my fault, when I know very well that I booked the room for May 18 because that was the weekend of our daughter's graduation. I was polite with him and I believe, in hindsight, that that was to my disadvantage. Some managers respond better to irate customers, as in the saying "the squeaky wheel gets the grease." He allowed us to stay in our room one more night at the $159 rate and credited the "no-show" fee back to us, but we still got an inferior room to the one I reserved-- and yet paid the same rate. I expected him to do better than that, such as waive the parking costs ($30 per day), but he clearly wanted to do as little as possible to correct the situation and made no effort to make up for the inconvenience, delay in checking in, and the distress of thinking we did not have a room in a city that was extremely short on lodging that particular weekend. In addition, the hotel's valet service drove my husband crazy, due to the poor communication of the guys working there and the lack of clarity at the front desk. We were sent from valet to desk to valet more than once. I still don't understand their parking system. The hotel room itself was adequate and well designed. The breakfast was slim pickings.

    • Disliked — The management lacked consideration, responsiveness, and human kindness. Seemed to be all about the money.

This hotel is nice. As soon as we arrived at the front desk, we had experienced true quality service. We found it odd that you always had to sweep our room key to acces the elevator. Our room was spacious, with two (large) double beds, a small kitchen, balcony(covered in cigars), a few small tables, and a master bathroom. The beds are comfy. We had a problem with the showers. Apparently, you are suppoused to hit some hidden button for hotter water. We had a nice view from our window. We also had some problems with the safe. __One major con of our stay was that in the middle of the night, a fire alarm went off!!!!! It was a false alarm, which we found out happens frequently. The hotel has a 13th floor, yikes! There was a continental breakfast ever morning. It was satisfying. We loved the make your own belgian waffle. There was also many other amenities. Our room had free Wi-Fi for our laptop. Note that not all rooms have this. There's also two computers and a printer available for free. Some arcade games and food vending machines are on site. There's one vending machine with bath nescessities. The fitness center is amazing. All service here was very nice, with the exception of the concierge. They weren't able to give us a great reccomendation of a restaurant. The only restaurant at the hotel was Jappanese. We never ate there. Our stay was an A- or B+.
