Between the surprisingly reasonable price and the condition of some of the neighborhoods I passed through on my way to the Burgundy, I was a bit apprehensive. My worries were forgotten when I saw the place. Absolutely gorgeous. The Burgundy is the most beautiful of all the B&Bs I've stayed in. The rooms are cute and unique. The Burgundy is a very easy five minute drive to the Quarter. It sits on a nice street, and we felt safe when we arrived late at night. The owner, Carl, is a very nice man and a wonderful host. We have already decided to stay there next time we are in New Orleans. Unreservedly recommended.
