My husband I were vacationing in New Orleans LA in late March (7th time) and again the Cresent City welcomed us with abiding hospitality. As usual ,we included several tours--3 Cajun Pride, 1 Haunted History and 2 Blooyd Mary's Tours.As a Certified Medium, 25 years, I was humbled and privileged to be part of her tours--these are exceptional and unique--her knowledge and wisdom of the sites she guided us thru was truly amazing--to say she is the 'real thing' is an understatement...as a medium, to note the love and respect she showed at the varying cementaries (from the wealthiest to the poorest) and the joy that the 'spirits' showed at our visit was so exciting. have done other 'haunted' tours in new orleans & other cities but this was byfar one of the best. Youngest son just loved the Cemetary tour & next time in town going to try her other tours. if your in town do one of her tours THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!

Just got back from New Orleans and was in charge of booking a "ghost tour". Well being a former tour guide I know that not only is the tour important so is the guide. I liked the thought of knowing exactly who I would get on the tour...Bloody Mary! We did the moonlight cemetery tour which takes you through three cemeteries and past about 5 more. It lasted two hours and the highlights of the tour where Bloody Mary herself, of course, seeing the poor cemetery that is maintained by family, trying to photograph orbs and spirits and hearing how New Orleans deals with the dead a little different than every other city in the country. Mary was very knowledgeable on the history as well as what is going on in the city cemeteries post Katrina. We even found out our hotel was built over an old cemetery. She is a native and you can tell she loves her job and doesn't have to be spooky to be interesting. We had a major thunderstorm the night of our tour and she was able to move our tour to another day to keep us out of the mud. And just like it said on her website...we did see bones and teeth on the tour that had risen up during the storm. Rather crazy but that explains why it is hard to bury people below water level. We booked online with no problem and got a discount. LOVED HER and the tour. Will do another one next time.

We recently went to New Orleans, and went on an awesome walking "Tour of the Undead" through the French Quarter - hosted by none other than the wonderful and fabulously personable local Voodoo Queen, Bloody Mary. She offers a variety of VERY cool (and affordable) haunted tours through her website, which you can pre-reserve and prepay via paypal for a nice discount. We were lucky to get Mary all to ourselves for our own tour, and luckily took our cameras (with flashes) to capture the unseen and amazing ghost ly activity at the various buildings/sites that she led us to! She is an absolute expert with the voodoo, vampire and ghostly history of the city, as well as the city's plague and other tragedies throughout the years - full of fascinating stories that will make your feet literally forget that you've walked for two hours straight! For the Ann Rice fans, this tour even highlighted the famous "Interview with the Vampire" house. Our only regret after seeing all of the mysterious spiritual orbs and mists in our photos was that we didn't also book her nighttime cemetary tour - which we will definitely do the next time we're there! Touring with Mary is an absolute must for any New Orleans vacation!
