Stayed here on July 8 for the first night of our honeymoon. (Break up the 2 hr cross-country + 4 hr Int'l flight). It was a Sunday night, and the staff told us very slow. As a result, we got the best deal ever! I booked through Starwood on a cash plus points deal. $60 + 4000 starwood points. Upon check in, I asked if there were any upgraded rooms available. The front desk upgraded us to a corner room on the 8th fl, without us saying a word about the honeymoon. The corner room was bigger and had a pretty view of Buckhead. The bathroom had a shelf behind the sink plenty big enough for a vanity. Room was well-appointed, and did not look old or outdated.

We rode MARTA from the airport. The station is only 2-3 blocks from the front door of the hotel. No problem, even with two huge roller bags. Kevin, the "transportation director" shuttled us around in Westin courtesy car to Target for supplies, and then to a local joint, Bajaritos for some fish tacos. He treated us great! We were hot and tired from walking the Botanical Gardens (recommended!!!), so we skipped doing Chops for dinner that night. At $20 for dinner and $60 for the room, I think we got the best deal in the history of Buckhead.

This is an OK hotel. Online travel agencies rate it as a
FOUR STAR. Its not. It is a 3 STAR at best. One annoying thing
that you will find in this hotel (as well as most 3 star or less
hotels) is that every time any room door is closed you can hear
it very loud & clear. It doen not help your sleep any.

Attended a large wedding at the Westin Buckhead at the end of June, and recieved a VERY discounted rate which I definately appreciated. Check-in was smooth and the concierges remained one of the highlights of the hotel. The room itself- meh. I kept bumping my hip against the desk they had sticking out. The outlets in the desk of course didn't work- I ended up finding one plug in the bathroom and another behind one bed. And the heavenly bed certainly was not heavenly- it was much too soft for my taste actually. But the two shower heads were lovely and we just ended up using the floor as our bathroom counter since their was no counter space. All in all, it was definately worth what I paid for it but there is no way I would pay more than that!

Room service from "The Palm" was the worst room service we have ever had. Bar none--- ( and we usually like the Palm)
Felt as if we were nickel and dimed to death. If a hotel charges for WiFi add it to the room charge, don't charge $10+ per day for
( substandard) service.
Bed and showerhead were very cool and the only part of hotel worth talking about. For $350+ per night the room was very small. Not even close for the $. Stay somewhere else
