We visited the Ellis Dec 28th for the new years holiday. The hotel is very well appointed & the contemporary decor is a nice touch.
conceirge (Robert) very attentive. Booked a Jr suite, it wasn't as large as we'd like, really just a hotel room w/ a couch, not separate living area. But it would be okay for 2 people. The food was good in the hotel & E grille. the breakfast buffet was a bit pricey (14.99 for cold, 19.99 for hot breakfast). Didn't have to drive anywhere. Marta subway station directly across from hotel. Visited the MLK center, Lenox mall & other attractions using the subway, really easy to figure out, signs are very helpful. This hotel was very clean & of course, its new, very comfortable beds, beautiful bathroom, upscale furnishings. Only complaint, internet in the rooms is not wireless. I didn't have an ethernet cable for my laptop w/me as most places offer wireless service, but you can use wireless in the restaurant, lobby & lounge. Overall, very good experience. I would book the executive suite next time. They gave us the wrong room & it was tiny, i went back to lobby & told them we'd reserved a suite & we were immediately assigned to the suite. But in going to the regular room, i noticed it was TINY!!! even the jr suite was small, but okay for 2 people. would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at the Ellis on Peachtree while at a conference in Atlanta. The hotel room was great- comfortable, well appointed room with a nice robe and lots of pillows of varying softness. The staff was also quick to correct the lack of caffeinated coffee in our room. Overall, a very nice experience with Ethernet access in all the rooms. The hotel is still shaking out the kinks since opening in October, but the staff is very quick to correct any oversights, no matter how slight.

This was a 15 minute walk to the World Congress Center, Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and stadiums. It was a block from the Hard Rock Cafe and several other restaurants.

The restaurant inside was decent, and the menu was short but had a decent variety on it. We had the brunch on our last day, and the goat cheese and spinach omelets were incredible!
