“You will be sick if you stay there.”

I booked this hotel on-line and paid $152.50. But when I arrived there on 05/25/07, they asked me to pay more. Should I?
The ants and insect were all over the floor, especially the bathroom. Both my wife and I got bit by insect and we were serious illness. We never see this kind hotel. Our government should not allow this kind terrible hotel in business. Please stay away from Canyon Inn for your health.

“Hated it!”

I was shocked at the looks of the place for the price! The staff was friendly enough but we had to ask for another towel and ant spray because ants were all over the floor in the bathroom. There had been some improvements. But the worst thing was that when we got back from a day at the Grand Canyon our keys wouldn't open the door! The staff was no where to be found. Finally someone from another motel came up and let us in our rooms. Don't stay here, I wish I had known about this site before hand.

Do not, and I repeat do not stay here. With hindsight I wish I'd stayed outside on the pavement (it would have been cleaner). The staff were initially friendly (when booking in) but once our money had been secured that all changed. First thing to greet us upon entering our room was a used cotton bud (complete with ear wax) - it then went downhill.

Positives? Didn't catch fleas and it has a new car park (they were surfacing it while we slept). This place deserves to go broke. Stay at your peril...

“Do not stay here.”

We stayed here in in 04. Our room was never cleaned - beds not made, towels not changed, linen smelled of a past guest's perfume. I tried to be patient the first two days because everyone has personnel issues, but by the fourth day it was obvious that it was the management did not care. We checked out early - lost money but went to a cleaner establishment.

“Hole in the Wall, Literally”

We stayed here back in October on our way through. It is centrally located however that is the only thing in it's favor. The desk personnel were friendly enough but the room was positively horrid. There were holes punched in the walls and what appeared to be blood on the ceiling. The toliet had a leak & a 5 gallon ice cream bucket to catch the drips, which had not been emptied in a while & was overflowing when we got there. I had to move the clothes drawers to adjust the TV cable & it appeared the carpet back there had not been vacuumed in quite a while, littered with candy wrappers. To top it all off there were several hairs in the bed sheets when we pulled down the covers. YUCK!
