We would just like to say that Navutu Stars Resort is just heaven on earth. We had a unforgetable experiance and a great honeymoon. The staff and management are marvellous and the Island/accomadation speaks for itself.

Food is great with lots of variety and freshness. We would love to go back in the future.

great food & great service & perfect location; come by seaplane- it's a 35 minute ride; everyone that came by the 4 hr boat got sick.

Don't miss:
1) at least one snorkeling trip (to the Blue Lagoon)- we saw electric blue/purpule starfish!!!
2) private dinner overlooking the resort- very romantic
3) kava ceremony
4) coconut demonstration- he cracks a coconut in half with his bare hands.
5) sashimi (on nights available)
6) club sandwich
7) fruit salad
8) Eta's mojito
9) glass of wine while playing your favorite board game (they have chess type and monopoly type games)

We found paradise! navutu is truly paradise and believe me all the good reviews are deserved.

We actually have been twice in the last 6 months - July & September and even tried to return in December for a third visit however it wasn't to be.

The island is wonderful so peaceful, the staff are all excellent friendly and its like having your own fijian family, the owners are part of the family and always are talking to all vistors to ensure you are enjoying yourself.

I was thinking of describing how good each member of staff was however they are all great.

If you like happy smiling faces with singing from dawn to dusk and nothing is too much trouble with perfect service then I have found you your paradise.

The food..... the food well my wife had Lobster everyday its 5 star food and the best of the best is not the lobster its the lovu, complete with carva. The lovu happens once a week and you get to join in the fun re making baskets etc (if you want to)

Navutu is the best place I have ever been on holiday for getting away from it all, we just totally relaxed - No TVs, No Mobile reception, no gadgets its so relaxing & quite.

You can go on snorkelling trips/fishing tripe etc and do try the lunch picnic on a deserted beach - very romantic.

The guests to the island are also very mixed and we enjoyed many a night at the bar discussing the world - there were Italians, americans, canadians, Aussies, Kiwis and us brits.

One thing you must do is visit the 2 villages where most of the staff come from, the one Dan/Littia come from has a shell market. The one "Big" or is that small Noah & Kiku come from is just a short walk and when we went over with Noah all the children formed a guard of honour.
(We took school equipment for them on our return - pencils/books etc)

The Bure's are just 9 in number 2 of which have sunken baths, we stayed in Bure No1 (the one up on stilts in all the pictures) and no8 (the end one by the Spa) - both bures were comfortable and the maid always kept them clean.

Noah the barman makes great cocktails and his daily special is always worth a try.

Be warned if you go to Navutu you will get great food, great service, friendly staff, be totally relaxed and totally enjoy yourself, if you dont want that do not go :-)

No seriously we travel all over the world and this is our little paradise and hopefully we will be back with our Fijian "Family" soon.

WOW. I have just come back from a 7 day stay at Navutu Stars and miss the place already.

I come from Sydney Australia, and so see a lot of nice beaches but the lagoon at Navutu at high tide was spectacular! The different blues in the ocean and the warm water were out of this world. I could have spent the whole time snorkeling and kayaking out the front and been happy but the resort also offers a range of daily activities, mostly complimentary which were great also.

The greatest thing about the place is the friendly staff and service, anyone who takes the chance to spend time with them will be richly rewarded and feel apart of the local community.

The locals took us on a number of snorkeling adventures showing off their excellent coral regeneration work and fish and octopus houses. The reefs were teeming with fish, lobsters, rays and octopuses and guides like Savuti and Eddie are the right people to show you where to find it. I felt entirely safe in their care
and privileged that they would share their gardens under the sea with us (though i didn't catch any fish, everyone else who went on the same trip as me did).

I have noticed comments about the food at Navutu and couldn't disagree more. The cooking is spectacular and the best I had in Fiji, including the big resorts like The Hilton and Sheraton where we also stayed briefly. I can't understand how anyone could fault the fresh crab and lobster we had or the italian-fijian fusion pastas like lobster ravioli. I spend a lot of time at lunch (I am a banker after all) and trust me, this food was top shelf. Some meals were relatively simple, but in my opinion this is how fresh seafood should be cooked, emphasizing the flavor of the produce.

What else can I say? We spent a few days on Denerau Island on the way home at the Hilton and Sheraton and while they were what you would expect of a big chain resort we deeply regretted that we hadn't booked the whole time at Navutu.

This place is paradise and I cannot wait to get back.
