Dolly was downgraded to a tropical storm late Wednesday, with maximum sustained winds near 70 miles per hour. Forecasters predict that the storm will continue to weaken as it moves north and west. Heavy rains continue, but all hurricane warnings have been canceled.

The resort town of Ixtapa, on the central Pacific coast, dazzles visitors with its top-notch amenities and miles of beaches. Relax, swim, snorkel, dive, fish, explore caves or go skydiving.
