Many people who visit Cayman Brac on vacation enjoy making shopping part of their experience there.  The island offers several shopping options to visitors in the form of upscale shops and boutiques, outdoor markets and outlet stores.  Shopping in the Cayman Islands is also duty free for foreign visitors, meaning that travelers can shop on the islands without paying import or luxury taxes on goods.

Products for sale on Cayman Brac range from luxury items such as jewelry, perfumes and designer clothing to locally made arts and crafts, gourmet foods and wines, rum, spices, and china and crystal.  Visitors from the United States are allowed to bring up to $400 of goods per person back into the country without paying taxes.  Items may also be shipped home directly from Cayman Brac, a service which many stores offer.

Most island hotels offer shopping guides and brochures, and if not they should be able to direct you to the nearest shopping areas.  If you are interested in purchasing locally made goods, it may also be an good idea to ask some locals where the best place buy them would be.  You may do better on prices and selection shopping outside of touristy areas.
